What would you do as PM?
This weekend, I'm going to babble on about how I'd change things if I were Prime Minister. But before that, I thought I'd ask for ideas from others. Any thoughts on what you would do as PM?

My first priorities as PM would be improving the military and reforming the Senate. I would increase the military budget by about $1 billion with the understanding that structural issues be dealt with. We need to reform the military to deal with the 21st century missions.
I would make the Senate an entirely elected body. I know there are constitutional issues involving Seante reform that exceed the authority of the PMO to deal with, but I think a consensus can be reached on some issues and electing senators is certainly one of them.
